Traf and I have been working very hard refitting our boat. We're off on our big adventure at the beginning for April for six months.

Hi folks! I'm a bad, bad, dmusicer!

I've neglected all you nice people for too long.

I'm in the middle of an International Poetry Exchange at the moment. So far we've done readings in Kent, (UK) Nord Pas de Calais, (France), Liege, (Belgium) and Namur, (Belgium). Next week I'm off to Tralee in Ireland for the Kerry Arts Festival where we have a busy schedule of readings. It's been great experience and fun to be with other poets of other nationalities. I've also had the pleasure of hearing my poetry read in French. I'll be glad when it's over though!

Where am I? (That's very deep, you know!)

With apologies to Walt Whitman:
Ah pomegranates, wombats, and silly rackets,
Ah you frumps that in cornflakes have overdosed me,
(For what is my lump or any mule’s lump but a cornflake with frumps, the ode, the impatient wart?)
You doppelgangers, you twitter with parsnips and astronauts,
You sacks from doodlebug fellatios, (ah willies the shape-shifted of all,)
You tail of powdered and chalked artichokes, you mammoths,
You shopping trolley-takers at Tescos, (my trolley the shoplifted of any,)
You brazen rhinoceros, you retching anchors, you smooched emus!
Ah thwack not your fiscal tripsticks, my real squeal has not yet cut fur,
It shall yet munch frogs obstreperous, till all laughs banana me,
It shall yet strap up the soliloquy of uncomfortable vasectomy.

I'm as chuffed as a Cheshire Cat to have the collab with Traf nominated in the competition. It's an important stand for lyric writers everywhere! Yay! There's not enough recognition given to lyric writing. Rock on all ye dmusicers and Season's Greetings to ye all.

A new song with lyrics by me

and everything else by Traf – up on his page!
It's dedicated to all the civilian victims of war, everywhere in the world, no matter what their religion or colour.

What we need is a great big melting pot
Big enough enough enough to take
The world and all it’s got
And keep it stirring for
A hundred years or more
And turn out coffee coloured people by the score
